Pumpkin Patch & Donation to Our Little Haven

Sunday everyone in the Mom Squad went to Theis Farm & Pumpkinland for a fun day and to pick up $100 worth of pumpkins and fall items for the charity of our choice.

My day was a little hectic, my oldest son was sick so I went with my 2 1/2 year old and it’s not easy carrying $100 worth of pumpkins around with a little one on your hip.  Thanks to Katie for helping me gather up all of the goodies for Our Little Haven.

If you haven’t heard of Our Little Haven it is an early intervention program that  provides a safe, healing environment for the youngest children recovering from abuse, neglect, abandonment or early childhood trauma in the greater St. Louis region.

Founded in 1993 as a single program serving 30 children annually, it has grown to four programs serving 400 children each year. Our Little Haven provides therapeutic residential treatment, a full range of professional psychological services, a therapeutic preschool and case management for young children and families involved in the foster care system due to abuse and neglect.

I am not able to show the video of my trip because we need to protect the safety of the children but I can tell you they were excited about their new items!
